Now I can die...

Well, almost - on February 7th I can die :op

Today was one of the happiest sports days in my life - only the 1980 World Series can compare. I watched the Eagles tear up the Falcons and plow, literally, their way to the Super Bowl - FINALLY!!! I've been waiting for this for a long, long time. I can't believe it's really real - I keep hoping I don't wake up from this magical wonderful dream to find that it never really happened. My side is black and blue from all the pinching, just to make sure. I saw grown men - die-hard Eagles fans just like myself - reduced, literally, to tears yesterday. I saw grown men hug each other with happiness unparalleled. It was beautiful. If only I could have been in Philly for it - I'd have walked 20 miles with no shoes on to make it to the game yesterday. I can only imagine what today in Philly is like. We, collectively as Eagles fans, held our breath for about 3 hours yesterday, hoping and praying that our little hearts wouldn't be crushed, AGAIN, this year. Now, we can remember how to breathe again

And to all those who said we couldn't do it.........
