Well, winter in Portland HAS officially arrived. Freezing rain event people!! Well, thta's what the news calls it - you know how they have to sensationalize everything, like we can't just look out the fuckin window and see what's what. Non-stop news coverage of the "Ice Storm of 2005!" tells me that it's gonna last most of the day. Freezing rain, can't go out, yadda yadda yadda. Hell, I just watch it to see the few schmucks who ventured out ('hey man, I got fouuurrrr whheeeeeeelllll driiiivvveee!') sliding around and crashing into each other. Fun!

We lost cable for a couple hours, but the big sports fan in the sky will hopefully keep it on because it's PLAYOFF FOOTBALL TODAY!!!

I have cable, beer, food, heat...... I'm gonna be just fine :)

Of course, I'm hacking up a lung (getting over a cold), but it could certainly be worse.
